Jeffery Cavender of Americus announces the engagement of his daughter, Kayleigh Morgan Cavender of Americus, to Cody Austin Vickers of Americus, son of Mrs. John Dimitri of Orlando, Fla., and the late Brian Douglas Vickers of Fredericksburg, Tenn.
The bride-elect is also the daughter of Jennifer Lewis. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Cavender and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lewis, all of Americus.
She is a 2012 graduate of Southland Academy, Americus and attended Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus and Darton College in Albany. She is employed as a sales and marketing representative for Servpro of Americus and Albany.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Winfree of Wildwood, Fla., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Vickers of Orlando, Fla.
He is a 2011 graduate of Schley County High School in Ellaville and a 2014 graduate of Darton College, Albany as an advanced EMT. He is employed with Americus Fire & Emergency Services.
The wedding is planned for 4 p.m. Nov. 7, 2015, at Bethel Baptist Church with a reception to follow at Bison Valley Lodge.
