Health inspections: April 23, 2016

AMERICUS — The following food service inspections were conducted recently by Sumter County Environmental Health.
• Aramark Campus Service, 800 Wheatley St., Americus — Oct. 28, 2015 — 86 B
— Observed time/temperature control (TTC) for safety foods (diced ham and bag of cheese) cold-held above 41 degrees F. TCS foods should be cold-held below 41 degrees. Corrective action: foods will be used on time and discarded by the end of breakfast (at 10:30 a.m.).
— Observed box of half and half cartons stored in the walk in cooler with expired dates on them (9-28,10-11). Commercially processed foods should be discarded by the expiration date. Corrective action: Box was discarded.
— Remarks: Time as a public health control is being used on items on the hot-hold food line.
• Best Western/Windsor Hotel (tourist accommodation inspection), 125 W. Lamar St., Americus — Sept. 28, 2015 — 100 A

— Observed no gas fire inspection on file. Will fax the inspection to our office by 3/31/2016.
• Bison Valley/R&K Catering, 1085 Tallent Store Road, Americus — Jan. 20 — 100 A
