• August Jerome Sims, 35, of 405 Hosanna Circle, Americus is charged with obstruction and driving while license is suspended.
• Bernard Davis, no age or address provided, is charged with burglary. He was jailed.
Incidents
• A key ring and keys were reported stolen from a vehicle at a Ridge Street residence.
• A Palm Court resident told police someone stole a vehicle tag.
• A hit and run traffic accident was reported at Ramada Inn, 1205 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
• An East Church Street resident reported to police a lost purse and contents, including a cell phone.
• A gas drive-off was reported at Petro, 620 W. Forsyth St.
• A Swett Avenue resident reported a missing vehicle tag.
• An air-conditioning unit was reported at a New Street residence.
• An assault was reported at a South Lee Street residence.
• A juvenile complaint was reported at a Rucker Street.

Arrests
• Dorothy Floyd, 42, of 802 Lawson Drive, Americus is charged with three counts of financial transaction card fraud. She was released on bond.
• Sekethia Mack, 21, of 701 Tom Gailey Drive, Americus is charged with two counts of financial transaction card fraud. She was jailed.
• James Donnell Crumbley, 40, of 357 Lower Five Points Road, Smithville is charged with cruelty to animals. He was released on bond.

• McKinley Charles Johnson of Hazelhurst was charged with following too closely after a minor traffic accident.
• Jerry Alan Cromer of 773 DeSoto Seed Farm Road, DeSoto is charged with driving without license on person.
