Union Tabernacle Baptist Church

Spring Revival is at 7:30 p.m. June 10-12. Tuesday features Pastor Michael Edge and William Grove Baptist Church; Wednesday, Pastor George F. Edge and Restoration Church; and Thursday, Bishop Melvin McCluster and Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Everyone is invited.

Campbell Chapel A.M.E. Church

The annual Men’s Day Celebration, “Strengthen Thy Brethren,” is at 4 p.m. June 22. Guest speaker is Sumter County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Col. Eric Bryant, who is a deacon at Lebanon Baptist Church, Plains. Men of Destiny will worship in praise dance. Other guests are Deacon Dwight Harris and the Dwight Harris Boys Club. The Men’s Department, all young men and boys and the public are invited. Light refreshments will be served.

Perry B. Grove Baptist Church

A healing and deliverance program is at 4 p.m. Saturday with Elder Alfred Rushin bringing the message. Everyone is invited.

Daniel Grove Baptist Church

Annual revival services are at 7:30 p.m. June 9-12. Pastor Kenny Gouch, pastor of Antioch Baptist Church, Plains, and Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Buena Vista, is pastor for the week.

Antioch Baptist Church

The Youth Choir and Praise Team anniversary is observed at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Everyone is invited.


Jerusalem Baptist Church

Everyone is invited to observe the church’s 123rd anniversary and the pastor’s 27th anniversary on Sunday with Sunday School at 10 a.m. and worship service at 11 a.m. The pastor, the Rev. Lem Wright, brings the message. At 2:30 p.m. the Rev. George F. Monts Jr. and Zion Hope Baptist Church are special guests. Dinner will be served.


St. Mark A.M.E. Church

The annual revival is June 15-18 with the following schedule: 5 p.m. June 15, the Rev. George Monts and Zion Hope Baptist Church and choir; 7:30 p.m. June 16, the Rev. Curtis Frasier and Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church and choir; 7:30 p.m. June 17, the Rev. Lodenia Coleman and Campbell Chapel A.M.E. Church and choir; and 7:30 p.m. June 18, the Rev. Terrell Carter and Greater New Lebanon Baptist Church and choir. Everyone is welcome.
