Entering an auto was reported at a Lonnie Lane residence. According to reports, approximately $300 worth of stereo equipment was reported missing.

Theft by taking was reported at Americus Auto Care, 902 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

Entering an auto was reported at Subway, 1039 E. Forsyth St. According to reports, a leopard-print purse valued at $100, $140 in cash, a drivers license and a debit card were missing.
Hit and run/leaving the scene of an accident were reported at the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 1711 E. Lamar St.
Burglary was reported at a Winn Street residence. According to reports, an air conditioner compressor valued at $200 was reported missing.
Unruly juvenile was reported at a Bessie Mays Circle residence.

Eric Shurod Merritt, 36, of 200 Roy Circle, Americus is charged with DUI, driving on a suspended license and failure to maintain lane. He was released on bond.

Animal complaint was reported at a Ga. Highway 308 residence near Plains. According to reports, a welfare check was conducted on some dogs, that were found to be in good health.
However, the deputy advised the owner that the animals needed some shade besides their dog houses.
Animal complaint was reported at a Graystone Drive residence. The complainant released his pit bulldog to the Sumter Humane Society, according to report. The deputies took the dog to the Sumter Humane Society animal shelter.
Juvenile complaint was reported at a Flintside Drive residence.
Missing juvenile was reported at a U.S. Highway 19 North residence. According to reports, the juvenile was later seen.
