• Firefighters responded to a rubbish fire on Hartman Street.
• Firefighters responded to a natural gas leak on East Lester Street.
• Firefighters responded to a smoke scare on McMath Mill Road which turned out to be from a controlled burn.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on Southerfield Road at the Cooper Lighting driveway.

Arrest
• Cynthia Lynn Bateman, 29, of Americus is charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault. She was jailed.

Incidents
• Burglary was reported at a Lewis Lowe Court residence.
• A hit and run accident was reported on Lonnie Lane.
• Criminal trespass was reported at Harvey’s, 106 Prince St.
• An air compressor and a pressure washer were reported stolen at a Brown Street residence.
• A West Church Street resident told police his wallet was stolen.
• Shoplifting by a juvenile was reported at Belk, 1456 E. Forsyth St.
• A scooter was reported stolen at a Hosanna Circle residence.
• Shoplifting was reported at DJ’s convenience store, 1101 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
• A handgun was reported stolen at an East Jefferson Street residence.

• Simone Olauren Odum, no age or address provided, is charged with DUI and misdemeanor possession of alcohol. She was jailed.
