Americus Police Department Arrests • James Bernard Perry, 37, of 806 N. Lee St., Americus is charged with theft by shoplifting. • Andre Marcell Morgan, no age or address provided, is charged with theft by conversion. He was jailed. Incidents • Illegal dumping was reported on Davis Drive. • A cell phone was reported stolen at a Melody Lane residence.
