Arrest
• A juvenile was charged with burglary at an Elizabeth Street residence where a .38-caliber gun with ammunition, several vases, a silver trash can, a lawn mower, a bicycle and a large bag full of several household items were reported stolen.
Incidents
• Criminal trespass was reported at Rubo’s, 8-4 Adderton St., and at a residence on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
• A hit and run traffic accident was reported at Eastview Apartments.
• A check was reported stolen at a Murphy Mill Road residence.
• Gun shots were reported in the parking are of the Lee Council House, 316 E. Church St.
• Ladies apparel was reported stolen at the Kinnebrew Co., 208 W. Lamar St.

Arrests
• Brandon Mable, 21, of 79-B Barbara Battle Way, Americus was arrested in a bench warrant. He was jailed.
• Cleveland Sheffield, 28, of Albany is charged with theft of financial transaction card and theft of lost or mislaid property. He was jailed.
• James Frederick Bowden, 31, of 110 Harvey Adams Road, Americus is charged with probation violation. He was jailed.
• Michael Wayne Wilson, 34, of Manhattan, Kans., is charged with failure to maintain lane and open container. He was jailed.
Citations
• Jose Rubio Sanchez of 269 Pine Drive, Lot 23, Ellaville was charged with no insurance and driving while unlicensed, following a traffic accident on Ga. Highway 30.
• Alicia Renee Monts, 43, of 913 Davenport St., Americus is charged with failure to stop at a stop sign and two counts of child restraint violation.
• Cherrell Shaniece Farris, 19, of Villa Rica is charged with failure to stop at a stop sign.
• Tommy Lee Jackson III, 34, of 709 Gail St., Americus is charged with passing in a no-passing zone.
• Willie C. Ray, 68, of 109 Pryor Cobb Road, Cobb is charged with operating an unsafe vehicle.
• Andre J. Leggett, 24, of Reynolds is charged with seat belt violation.
Incidents
• The County’s animal control officer picked up a dog and three puppies at a Bumphead Road residence and took them to the Sumter Humane Society animal shelter.
• A motorcycle was reported abandoned in the parking lot of the Odum Center, South Georgia Technical College.
• Deputies responded to alarms at two businesses and two residences.
• A domestic disturbance was reported at a Winder Street, Andersonville residence.
• A motorist reportedly struck a pig on Pine Level Road.
• A suspicious person was reported at a Bumphead Road residence.
• A suspicious vehicle was reported in the area of Brownlee’s Grocery, U.S. Highway 19 South.
• The County’s animal control officer removed a cat from a storage warehouse at the Sumter YDC, McMath Mill Road.
