• Firefighters responded to a small stove fire at an Elm Avenue residence. • Firefighters assisted with several medical emergencies. Americus Police Department Arrests • Corey William Bowens, 29, 1357 N. Jackson St., Americus is charged with criminal trespass. • Robin Carol Jones, 40, 701 Park Row, Americus is charged with obstruction. Incidents • A Magnolia Court man reported that someone stole $6,500 worth of copper from his residence. • A domestic dispute was reported at an Anthony Drive residence. • A Mediacom installer reported that three Knollwood Drive residents were stealing cable service.
