• Firefighters responded to numerous calls for downed trees and power lines over the weekend. They also responded to several malfunctioning fire alarms due to the storm

• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at Ga. Highway 49 North and Country Lane.

• Firefighters made a good intent call to a Jenkins Road residence.

Arrests

• A juvenile was charged with unruliness at a Lakeview Circle residence.

• Daniel T. Walton, 32, of 916 Parker St., Americus is charged with battery. He was jailed.

• Joshua Wright, 18, of 801 Georgia Ave., Americus is charged with assault/battery.

• Robert E. Patton, 43, of Albany is charged with burglary and possession of tools to commit a crime. He was jailed.
