• Firefighters responded to a Dogwood Hills residence to a report of a stove making a clicking noise and a gas odor.

• Firefighters responded to 12 calls for medical assistance.

• Firefighters responded to a smoke alarm at Chevron, 1402 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. It was triggered by a broken exhaust system.

• Firefighters responded to a tree in the roadway on Sharon Drive.

• Firefighters responded to an alarm malfunction at a North Dudley Street residence.

• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at Mayo and Railroad streets.

Arrests

• Christopher A. Jackson, 20, of 103 Palm Court, Americus is charged with criminal trespass.

• Quantavious Hill, 17, of 1311 Douglas Drive, Americus is charged with driving while unlicensed, failure to yield at a stop sign after stopping, and hit and run.
