Arrests

• James B. Perry, 42, of Apt. 14, Sun Valley Drive, Americus was arrested on two bench warrants for failure to appear in court and charged with cruelty to animals.

• Earnest M. Floyd, 30, of 611 Oak Ave., Americus is charged with possession of marijuana (first offense), removing of affixing license plate for purpose of concealing identity of vehicle, operating motor vehicle while registration is suspended/canceled/revoked, driving while license is suspended or revoked and seat belt violation.

• Sherry T. Wilkerson, 27, of 107 Sun Valley Drive, No. 6, Americus is charged with driving while license is suspended or revoked and child restraints violation.

• A juvenile was arrested at Americus Village shopping center, 1604 E. Forsyth St., and charged with underage possession of tobacco, curfew violation and giving false identity information to law enforcement officers.

• Oscar Gonzalez, 50, of 107 Whispering Pines, No. 2, Americus is charged with a license violation after being involved in a traffic accident.

• Kamesha S. Davis, 23, of 505-B Bessie Mays Circle, Americus is charged with battery, criminal trespass and cruelty to children (third or subsequent offense), and was released on bond

• A juvenile was arrested at Americus Village shopping center, 1604 E. Forsyth St., and charged with underage possession of tobacco, curfew violation and giving false identity information to law enforcement.

• Luther Berry, 56, of 303 Africana Drive, Americus is charged with disorderly conduct.

• A pit bulldog was reported stolen on Academy Street.

• A family pack of pigs’ feet and a family pack of chicken leg quarters were reported stolen from a South Hampton Street residence.

• Theft was reported at Diya Foods, 202 W. Church St.

• Financial transaction card fraud was reported at Forrest Street Apartments, 429 S. Forrest St.

• Cash was reported stolen at a Hosanna Circle residence.

• A lost trailer tag was reported at Perry Bros. Oil, 125 U.S. Highway 280 West.

• Two broken TVs were reported illegally dumped at Bethesda Baptist Church, 225 Forrest St.

• A wooden chair was reported stolen on New Street.

• Hit and run accidents were reported on Sharon Drive, Magnolia Street and Peachtree Street.

• A hit and run was reported on East Lamar Street.

• Criminal trespass was reported on Adderton Street.

• Suspicious activity was reported on Wanda Way.

• Armed robbery and theft by deception were reported on Redrick Street.
