For the second time, the Andersonville National Historic Site put together a display of 13,000 luminaries, representing the 13,000 prisoners of war who perished during the Civil War in the infamous Camp Sumter. Some 175 volunteers, from throughout the state (primarily a four-county area) and from Wisconsin, helped throughout the day in preparation. About 300 visitors drove through the park to witness the amazing site between 7 and 10 p.m. Saturday. Submitted Photo / The Americus Times-Recorder
