Published February 24, 2009 11:37 pm - Adaway of Smithville makes Brewton-Parker Dean’s List The Americus Times-Recorder MOUNT VERNON — Chauntilia Khelice Adaway of Smithville qualified for the Dean’s List at Brewton-Parker College of Mount Vernon, Georgia, for the fall 2008 semester, announced Dr. Ron Melton, provost.
Qualifying students were enrolled in 12 or more hours and earned a grade point average of 3.6 or better. Brewton-Parker College is the only accredited four-year Christian college in south Georgia. Based in Mount Vernon, it has external learning campuses and centers in Baxley, Glennville, Liberty County, Newnan, Norman Park and Savannah.
