Southland Academy Headmaster Williams E. Stubbs announces the top graduates of the Class of 2008. The valedictorian is Carmen Arleita Felton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Felton of Marshallville. Sarah Elizabeth Blount, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Blount of Americus, is the salutatorian.

The baccalaureate service is at 8 p.m. May 11 at Central Baptist Church in Americus. Graduation is at 3 p.m. May 25 in the Melvin T. Gymnasium on the Southland Academy campus.
