Twelve South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) practical nursing graduates participated in a special pinning ceremony held recently in the John M. Pope Industrial Technical Center on the Americus Campus.

Jennifer Childs, Americus SGTC practical nursing instructor, presented a slide show featuring photos of the student graduates and their experiences in the practical nursing program.

“I am really proud of these 12 students,” remarked Childs. “They have all had to work hard at getting to this point in their life. Their journey is just beginning, and I wish them much luck with it.”

The vocal selection was chosen and sung by Shelia Clay.
