North Ga. could get more snow this week

ATLANTA — According to the Associated Press, parts of Georgia could see more snow this week.

The National Weather Service is predicting light snow with some accumulation late Thursday night into Friday for the northern part of the state. The counties affected include: Dade, Walker, Catoosa, Whitfield, Murray, Fannin, Gilmer, Union, Towns, Chattooga, Gordon, Pickens, Dawson, Lumpkin, White and Floyd.

Most areas aren’t expected to get more than an inch of snow.

The state is still reeling from a winter storm last week that covered much of Georgia in snow and ice and shut down many public school districts for nearly a week.
