• Firefighters responded to 10 calls for medical assistance.

• Firefighters responded to a smoke detector at Gladys’ Kitchen, 1009 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., which was set off by smoke from an outside grill.

• Firefighters responded to traffic accident on East Lamar Street.

• Firefighters responded to a grass fire on Ga. Highway 27 East.

• Firefighters responded to a downed power line on Dogwood Drive.

• Firefighters responded to an alarm at Ruby Tuesday, 120 Lonnie Lane. There was no fire.

• Firefighters responded to Pinecrest Drive where a tree was blocking the roadway.

• Firefighters responded to an authorized controlled burn at South Forty and South Lee Street.

• Firefighters responded to a City park on Bell Street where they found smoldering wood chips.
