AMERICUS — Funeral services for the late Ms. will be held Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 from the Lebanon Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Hosie Waters will officiate and burial will follow in the Lebanon cemetery. The remains will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the services.

Ms. Annie B. Slappey was born in Sumter County, Georgia on March 31, 1936 to the parentage of the late Mr. Stinson Slappey and the late Mrs. Flora Lee Rogers Slappey.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Mr. Eddie Dean (Eva) Slappey; one daughter, Mrs. Elaine (J.C.) Bryant, Jr.; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Thomas and Ms. Jeanette Slappey; five brother, Mr. Marvin Slappey, Mr. Clarence Slappey, Mr. Artis Slappey, Mr. Eugene Slappey and Mr. James Ross; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends also survive.
