AMERICUS — Southland Academy’s three-year-olds recently invited their dads to visit their classroom and enjoy donuts with them. The students were studying the letter ‘D’ as in the word ‘donut.’ The dads were treated with a craft made especially for them and then the students went through their morning routine for the dads. They recited the alphabet and Pledge of Allegiance, sang ‘My Country Tis of Thee’ then did two Raider cheers.
