New Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church

Community Services Ministry
Volunteer training is from 10 -11:30 a.m. July 31 at First Presbyterian Church. CSM is an outreach ministry of the Sumter Area Ministerial Association that helps individuals who need assistance with their utilities, medical costs and other general living expenses.Volunteers are needed to serve as receptionists and interviewers and clergy are needed to serve as counselors. Birthday Breakfast
A birthday breakfast to celebrate Minister James Henge Johnson’s 51st birthday is at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Quality Inn Motel Banquet Room. Tickets are $20 and include one breakfast and a chance to win a $200 gift certificate to Ruby Tuesday. You do not have to be present to win. Winning tickets will be drawn prior to benediction.
