Stage Production: The Sumter Players Inc. and GSW/Dramatics Arts production of “Twelve Angry Men” takes the stage of the Rylander Theatre at 2:30 p.m. today. Tickets for reserved seating at all performances are available at the Rylander box office, 310 W. Lamar St.(telephone 931-0001 or (toll free) 1 877 662-2312). Tickets can also be purchased online 24/7 at rylander.org and sumterplayer.org. Major credit/debit cards are accepted. Students in eighth through 12th grades will be admitted free of charge to any performance.

Change in Hours: There are changes in tthe walk-in clinical walk-in service hours at the Sumter County Health Department. Registration is from 8 a.m.-4:15 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday.
Lions Club: The Americus Lions Club meets at noon Tuesday at Ryan's Family Steak House with guest speaker, past District Governor Chris Sumner of Blakely, who will show a video on the Lions Club International Foundation, which is matching a $75,000 grant to the rebuilding of Phoebe/Sumter Hospital.
Furlough Day: The Sumter County Department of Family and Children Services will be closed Wednesday for a statewide mandatory furlough day. DFCS will also be closed Nov. 26-27 in observance of Thanksiving and reopens at 8 a.m. Nov. 30.

Interactive Workshop: Ribbons, Roses & Wraps, an interactive workshop, is at 7 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Sumter County Agricultural Center, 331 U.S. Highway 19 South. Cost is $20 person; registration deadline is Nov. 30. Call 924-4476. Instructor is Cat Young. Proceeds benefut Sumter County 4-H.
