Farmers’ Market: Lenny’s Market is now open for business from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. today

4-E Center Registration: 4-E Center Inc. is holding after-school registration for grades K-8th grades from 3-6 p.m. Monday-Friday. The Students for Change program for expelled or suspended students, is from 9 a.m.-noon for $40 per student. Partial scholarships are available. Space is limited. Call 928-5605 for information.

Change in Hours: There are changes in tthe walk-in clinical walk-in service hours at the Sumter County Health Department. Registration is from 8 a.m.-4:15 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday.

Lions Club: The Americus Lions Club meets at noon today at Ryan's Family Steak House with guest speaker, past District Governor Chris Sumner of Blakely, who will show a video on the Lions Club International Foundation, which is matching a $75,000 grant to the rebuilding of Phoebe/Sumter Hospital.

Furlough Day: The Sumter County Department of Family and Children Services will be closed Wednesday for a statewide mandatory furlough day. DFCS will also be closed Nov. 26-27 in observance of Thanksiving and reopens at 8 a.m. Nov. 30.
