HAWKINSVILLE — Marion Joyce Nelson Curry, 82, of Hawkinsville, Ga., passed away on Jan. 24, 2015, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, at Orange Hill Cemetery. Visitation will take place immediately following the memorial service at the cemetery.

Mrs. Curry was born in Pulaski County and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Curry. Survivors include daughters, Jean Ivis of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Mary Myers Obenauf of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; son, Frank Myers III of Columbus, Ga., and one granddaughter, Natalie Ivis of Brooklyn, N.Y.
