LOGANSPORT, Ind. — An Indiana man was arrested Wednesday on meth-related charges for the second time in less than two weeks.

Just after 8 a.m., police stopped a car for a traffic violation in Logansport, a town about 70 miles north of Indianapolis. While searching the vehicle with a K-9 unit, officers discovered methamphetamine, precursors to manufacture the drug including crushed-up pseudoephedrine, and drug paraphernalia. A prescription drug and marijuana were also found.

The driver, James P. Gross, 34, of Logansport, was arrested on four felony charges, including possession of methamphetamine. A passenger in the vehicle, Tracy Louthain, 38, of Logansport, was arrested on identical felony charges, according to the Logansport (Ind.) Pharos-Tribune.

Less than two weeks earlier, Gross had also been arrested on several other drug-related charges, also as a result of a traffic stop, police said. Another man in that vehicle, 33-year-old Steven D. Hilligoss of Kokomo, was also charged.

Police said information gathered during that stop led them to High Voltage Customs, an auto repair shop outside Logansport. After obtaining a search warrant, officers located an active methamphetamine laboratory and several items used to manufacture methamphetamine inside that building.
