1. Snow continues to fall in the Northeast and now fire is falling in the Mid-Atlantic

At 4:45 a.m. Tuesday, early risers across Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York spotted a fireball blazing across the pre-dawn sky. So did NASA.

A camera at Allegheny Observatory near Pittsburgh captured images of the hot mass, which the space agency later determined to be a 500 pound space rock approximately two feet in diameter and traveling at 45,000 mph.

2. Joe Biden has a reputation for putting his foot in his mouth. Now the Vice President is getting attention for putting his mouth in someone’s ear.

Or at least that’s what it looks like to Twitter, which has resurrected its #BidenBeingBiden hashtag with a photo and video of Biden appearing to whisper sweet… somethings… in the ear of Stephanie Carter, wife of new Defense Secretary Ashton Carter, during her husband’s swearing in ceremony Tuesday.

3. “T”–that’s all this one-letter wonder needed to solve the puzzle on Tuesday night’s episode of Wheel of Fortune.

If there’s anyone who deserves to be in the “championship match”, it’s this guy.
