ELLAVILLE — Students in Julia Scoggins class at Schley County Elementary School were challenged to perform 100 Acts of Kindness. The challenge was held from Feb. 9-13. The acts of kindness completed so far included helping a friend with a book, offering to give up a seat for a classmate, offering to clean up the table after a messy lesson, using great manners, sharing and complimenting others. Many lessons can be learned from performing acts of kindness inside and outside of the classroom. Scoggins is confident her students will meet and surpass the goal.
