1. Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the rock pools Down Under, an octopus comes out of the water–and walks on land–to devour a crab.

The video of the amphibious assault, which is said to have been shot in the southwestern Australian town of Yallingup, has been viewed more than four million times since it was uploaded late last week. The YouTube user behind the camera described it as “The best and (most) unexpected video i’ve ever captured!”

2. They call it the Superman Punch because the motion resembles the pose in which the superhero is commonly depicted–a lunge with the knee followed by a flying punch. However, what with mixed martial arts being more realistic than comic book fisticuffs, it rarely works. MMA fighters who try it rarely connect. When they do, the results are rarely a knockout.

Which is why fans of the sport are going gaga over Sunday night’s UFC Fight Night 61 match, specifically the part in the first round when underdog Matt Dwyer turned into the Man of Steel before William Patolino’s very (and likely still swollen) eyes.

3. Krispy Kreme is celebrating its 1,000th store with one million free doughnuts. Capitalism has never tasted better.
