COLUMBUS – Schley County’s Wildcats baseball team snapped an impressive three-game winning streak on March 17 with a 0-3 loss to the Brookstone Cougars in Columbus. The defeat marks the team’s first region loss of the season.

The Wildcats are currently sitting on a 3-1 region record and a 6-3 overall record on the season. The Wildcats will face the Cougars once more this season on April 10 in Ellaville.

The Wildcats put their region 4A record on the line once more on March 20, facing the Taylor County Vikings in Ellaville before hosting region foe, Hawkinsville, on March 24.

The Wildcats are currently undefeated at home.
