• Firefighters responded to an alarm at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center which turned out to be false.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on East Avenue which turned out to be false.
• Firefighters responded to Brady Road to a report of a tree limb on power lines.• Firefighters responded to an alarm on West Church Street where the occupant said there had been a lightning strike close by setting off the alarm. No hazards were found.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on Industrial Boulevard. Upon arrival, they found it was a drill.
• Firefighters responded to Millard Fuller Boulevard and West Church Street where they removed a tree from the roadway.
• Firefighters responded to Cherokee Street and Lakeview Circle where they removed a tree from the roadway.
• Firefighters responded to a possible structure fire on Brinson Drive where they found light gray smoke coming from the roof. Inside they found a pot left on the stove. They ventilated the structure.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on West Forsyth Street. Upon arrival, the occupant told them she had been burning candles and the wax got too hot, producing smoke which activated the alarm.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
• Firefighters went to Georgia Southwestern State University to assist with medical screening of athletes.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on East Forsyth Street. No hazards were found.
• Firefighters responded to a gas leak on Hosanna Circle. They found a slight odor coming from the water heater.
• Firefighters stood by for a bonfire at Georgia Southwestern State University.

• Firefighters responded to  an alarm on Ga. Highway 308 which was a malfunction.
• Firefighters responded to LaCrosse Road to a report of water running into a light fixture.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on Ginger Drive.
• Firefighters responded to  a wire down at Wiggins and Croxton Cross roads.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on Austin Drive. No hazards were found.
• Firefighters responded to traffic accident on U.S. Highway 19 South.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on Thomas Drive. No hazards were found.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on Ga. Highway 308.

• Firefighters responded to grass fire at Lamar Road and Spring Creek Circle. They found a tree on fire which the occupant had extinguished with a garden hose.

• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at U.S. Highway 19 South and Ga. Highway 308.
• Firefighters responded to a structure fire on Lexington Circle. They found a mobile home grease fire on the stove. They removed the stove.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on Bond Street, Plains. There were no hazards.
• Firefighters responded a report of a tree on a power lien on U.S. Highway 280 East.
• Firefighters taught a fire extinguisher class at Andersonville National Historic Site.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on U.S. Highway 280 East.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic acciddnt on Ga. Highway 308 involving a truck pulling a tractor on a trailer. The truck’s brakes locked up and the vehicle ran into the woods.
