• Firefighters responded to 21 calls for medical assistance.
• Firefighters responded to a report of a gas leak on Cotton Avenue. They found the leak, evacuated the occupants and requested the gas department. The leak was coming from a propane tank.
• Firefighters conducted smoke detector detail on Glenwood Road.
• Firefighters responded to Fetner Street to a grass fire. They extinguished a small rubbish pile on fire.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on West Church Street where a vehicle had struck a fire hydrant.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on Hickory Drive which was accidentally set off by cooking.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on Belinda Circle. They found the alarm had a dead battery and replaced it.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at Ga. Highway 27 East and U.S. Highway 280 East.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on Prince Street.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at Felder Street and GSW University Drive.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on Lynnview Drive. There was no fire.

• Jeremy C. Bosley, 19, of 119 W. Church St., Americus is charged with failure to appear in court and felony theft by taking motor vehicle, and was jailed.
• Anthony J. Driver, 36, no address provided, was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Richmond County, and charged with probation violation, and was jailed.
• Deontavius T. Glover, 29, of Plains is charged with operating motor vehicle while registration is suspended, canceled or revoked, no proof of insurance and driving while unlicensed, and was jailed.
• Delene Holton of 441 N. Spring Circle, Cobb is charged with failure to obey traffic control devices.
• Kevante J. James, 21, of Riverdale is charged with forgery of a financial transaction car, financial transaction card fraud and felony identity theft fraud when using/possessing identity information concerning a person, and was jailed.
• Darrell L. King, 24, of 512 Lindsey Lane, Americus is charged with knowingly driving motor vehicle on suspended, canceled or revoked registration, driving while license is suspended or revoked and failure to maintain insurance, and was jailed.
• Ray A. Lasiter, 58, of 322 Tabby Lane, Americus is charged with driving while license is suspended or revoked (second offense), DUI (second offense) and seat belt violation.
• Charlie Lockhart, 52, of 1608 N. Jackson St., Americus is charged with aggravated assault, simple battery and sexual battery, and was jailed.
• Cordarra Lockhart, 25, of 712-B Beale St., Americus was arrested on an outstanding warrant and is charged with probation violation, and was jailed.
• Dorothy A. Mackey, 44, of 221-B Horton Drive, Americus is charged with restraint against dogs and prohibition against nuisances, and inoculation/registration/tagging of animals.
• Makevius J. Ming, 37, of Atlanta is charged with felony failure to appear in court for finger printable charge, and was jailed.
• Larry C. Sims, 61, of 108 Belinda Circle, Americus is charged with aggravated assault (Domestic Violence Act), and was jailed.
• Jarrian T. Walters, 25, of 215 Habitat St., Americus is charged with robbery and battery, and was jailed.
• Deshaun C. Washington, 22, of 244 S. Dudley St., Americus was arrested on a bench warrant and is charged with robbery, battery and probation violation, and was jailed.
• Laqueisha S. Waters, 21, of 105-H Eastview Apartments, Americus is charged with driving while unlicensed.
