Americus
Mountain Creek A.M.E. Church
Fall Revival Services are at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 15-17, 2015. Pastor Reverend Gerald Harris is evangelist for the week. Camp Meeting Service is at 11 a.m. Sept. 20. Everyone is welcome.

Campbell Chapel A.M.E. Church
Women’s Day is observed at 4 p.m. Sept. 13 with Maria Campbell Josey as speaker. Theme is “The Light that Shineth in Me”  (Matthew 5:14-16). Members of the Rho Sigma Omega Chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority have been invited as special guests.
Fall Revival services are at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 22-24 with the program as follows. Tuesday, the Rev. James Alexander and St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Columbus with guests Allen Chapel, Mount  Olive, St. Paul Andersonville, St. Paul Oglethorpe, Brown Chapel, Peter’s Chapel, Mahalia Chapel and William Grove; Wednesday, the Rev. Charlie Hicks and Allen Temple A.M.E. Church of Byron along with Union Hill, St. Phillip, Mount Creek, Davis Chapel, Bethel Montezuma and Scott’s Mater; Thursday, Evangelist Sarah Dice, Zion Hope Baptist Church Sumter County, and Big Bethel, Zion Hill, Friendship, St. Mark Archery, St. John Plains, Reach Out and Touch Ministries and Christians on a Mission. Revival theme is “Cleaning up What We Messed Up”  Psalm 51:10.

United Holiness Church
The annual Grand Fellowship Assembly concludes with services at 7 p.m. today Sept. 12 and 11 a.m. Sunday.

I Heart Church
A pancake breakfast honoring law enforcement and firefighters is at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at the church located in the Clarence Jordan Center on West Church Street. The public is invited.

Perry B. Grove Baptist Church
The annual revival services are at 7 p.m. Sept. 16-18. Churches on the program are Wednesday, New St. Paul, Mitchell Grove and Greater New Lebanon; Thursday, Corinth Holy Bible, Union Oak Grove and Spring Hill; and Friday, New Life Holiness, Scott Mater, Ebenezer Schley and New Bethel.
At 11 a.m. Sept. 20, homecoming and the church’s 86th anniversary will be observed. Jerusalem Schley, Oak Grove Schley, Mount Salem and New Union Grove are especially invited.

New Corinth Baptist
The ushers’ anniversary is observed at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 20. Sara Mills of Old Shady Grove Baptist Church, speaks on the duties of an usher. Everyone is invited.

Antioch Baptist Church
A pre-church anniversary service is at 7 p.m. Sept. 15 with the Rev. Calvin Rollins and Big Bethel Baptist Church in charge of the service.
The church’s 137th anniversary is observed at 2 p.m. Sept. 20 with the Rev. Daniel Simmons and Mount Zion Baptist Church of Albany are in charge of the service. Everyone is invited. Dinner will be served.

Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church
A prayer meeting starts at 7 p.m. Sept. 15.
A two-night-revival is at 7 p.m. Sept. 16 and 17
A Senior Citizen Breakfast is at 9 a.m. Sept. 19.
The church’s 113th anniversary is observed at 11 a.m. Sept. 20.

Welcome Baptist Church

Corinth Holy Bible Church
The annual Homecoming services is at 11 a.m. Sunday. Speaker is Pastor Arthur Turner of Church of God’s Living Word of Eufaula, Ala. The public is invited. Dinner will be served.
