Louise Stewart Parnacott, 88, passed away at home on Sept. 14, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept.18, 2015, at Harvey Funeral Chapel. Dr. Emil Askew will officiate. A visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Louise  was born on Aug. 10, 1927, in Shellman, Ga., to the late Earnest Earl Stewart and the late Mattie Achord Stewart. She was a retired sales clerk, having worked at Cherry’s Drugs and Dawson Pharmacy.
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Wallace Parnacott Sr. and her daughter, Linda Berthelot. Survivors include daughters, Faye Murray (Don) of Plains and Patsy Raybon (Pete) of Augusta; sons, Barney Parnacott Jr. (Beth) of Dawson and Billy Parnacott of Americus; brothers, Andy Stewart (Nell) of Bronwood and Richard Stewart (Ruth) of Albany; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
