Ellaville-Schley Historical Society  auction is today
The Ellaville-Schley County Historical Society Auction is this evening at the American Legion.
The barbecue supper begins at 5:30 p.m., and the auction starts at 7 p.m.
There will be three different events going on tonight at the auction.

Ricky Sawicky visits parents Labor Day weekend
On Sept. 4, Ricky Sawicky came home to visit his parents, Dwight and Mary Ellen McCorkle. This is their oldest son who lives Apollo Beach, Fla.
He came to be with his  parents and to do some work for them on this special holiday weekend.
Bryant and Dinah Collins of Pelham, and Billy and Elene McCorkle of Ellaville joined their nephew and wife Dwight and Mary Ellen McCorkle for lunch on Sunday and had a special afternoon visit with family.
Rickey returned home on  to Apollo Beach on Monday.
Mary Ellen said it was real nice just to have Ricky home and to visit with him being by themselves.

Justices take surprise short Labor Day weekend vacation
On Sept. 4, Brian and Sandy Justice went to the home of his parents, Wilbur and Vicki Justice, and told them “let’s go get some seafood for supper.” Surprisingly they all four ended up in Panama City, Fla.
After supper at the Red Bar Seafood Restaurant, they visited friends also in Panama City for Labor Day weekend.
It was so late that they spent the night, and walked the beach early the next morning  and returned home late Sunday.

The Jason Justice family enjoy special Labor Day weekend
Jason, Dawn and their girls Liberty and Dixie spent Labor Day weekend at Sautee-Nacoochee on the Chattahoochee River.
They met up with friends and visited Dahlonega and the area while the men kayaked and canoed on the Chattahoochee River.   They returned home late Monday.

Ellaville United Methodist Church to have revival
Ellaville United Methodist hosts a revival starting at 7 p.m. Sept. 20-23.
On Wednesday, the Methodist Men will have Ladies Night and supper will be served at 6 p.m., followed by the revival service.
