Georgia Southwestern State University’s Panorama Series addresses sustainability at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22 in Carter I Auditorium, Rosalynn Carter Health and Human Sciences Complex.

On the panel on sustainability will be Suzanne Conner, Ph.D. assistant professor of marketing; Bill Harris, co-founder and CEO of Cafe Campesino; Tom Lorenz, Ph.D., assistant professor of biology; Lisa McGuire, Georgia State University graduate student, Women, Gender, and Sexuality Institute and Andrew Young School of Social Work and Public Policy;
and Phil Szmedra, Ph.D., professor of economics. Serving as moderator will be Samantha Price, GSW Student Government Association president.

Panorama is a discussion series conceived and hosted by GSW faculty. It provides a platform to all stakeholders of GSW – students, faculty members, staff members, administrators, community members, and others – to discuss events and topics that are current as well as ongoing.

Panorama provides GSW community members a platform to voice their views on both timely and timeless topics and events. Panorama fosters a richer understanding of important topics and events by encouraging civil discussion from a range of perspectives, thus contributing to an intellectually vigorous and socially aware campus community.

The public is invited.
