The celebration culminates at 11 a.m. Oct. 11 when Pastor Calvin F. Rollins delivers the sermon, and at 2:30 p.m., the Rev. Dr. H.C. Wilson and Mount Olive Baptist Church, Americus are in charge of the service. The theme is “A Great and Mighty Walk” and everyone is invited.

New Jerusalem Baptist Church
The annual Men and Women Day program is Sunday with Sunday school at 9:30 a.m., followed by worship at 11 a.m. Speaker is Evangelist Sarah Dice and Zion Hope Baptist Church.

Fellowship Baptist Church
Here is an opportunity to share something you normally throw away. The September mission project is recycling empty medicine bottles: small, both prescription or non-prescription, plastic bottles. The bottles will sent to poor countries where only paper is available. When medicines are wrapped in paper, they can be easily damaged, lost or a danger to children. Labels can be removed with GooBgone or hot water. Place in a plastic bag and drop in designated container at the church or call Linda Degelmann at 942-2000.
