AMERICUS — Funeral services for the late Veteran Darin J. Williams of Americus, Georgia will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, 2015, at Friendship Baptist Church. The Rev. E. X. King will officiate and burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery with full military honors. The remains will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the services.
Veteran Darin J. Williams was born on Jan. 24, 1965, in Sumter County, Georgia, to the parentage of the late Mr. Allen Williams and Mrs. Yinestra Williams, who survives. He joined the United States Navy and served our country for eight years.
In addition to his mother, he leaves to cherish his memories, a daughter, Ms. Nihchondra Hollis; two grandchildren, Kanala and Narquavious Harris; two stepchildren, Elushia Rutherford and Herman Rutherford Jr.; two brothers, Mr. Anthony (Bernice) Williams and Mr. Durante (Thereases) Williams; one sister, Ms. Drunell Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
