The Americus-Sumter High School Band participated in the Troy University 2015 Band Day on Sept. 12 in Troy, Ala. There were a total of 27 middle and high school bands from Alabama, Florida and Georgia. Students performed along with the Troy University Sound of the South Marching Band during half-time at the Troy vs. Charleston Southern football game.
