AMERICUS — The following food service inspections were conducted recently by Sumter County Environmental Health.
• Roman Oven, 1604-H Vienna Highway, Americus — Aug. 10 — 95 A
— Observed food stains and burnt marks on plastic cutting boards (prep table). Food contact surface should clean to sight and touch. Corrective action: Cutting boards will be soaked in sanitizer and scrubbed to remove stains.
— Observed bare woods in back storage area. Bare wood surfaces and sheet rock walls should be sealed with a corrosion-resistant, nonabsorbent, and smooth material. Corrective action: Bare wood and sheet rock will be sealed/painted. Correct by 8-24-2015.
• Sumter County Correctional Institute /ABL Prison, 346 McMath Mill Road, Americus — July 16 — 93 A
— Observed reusable cup with coffee with lid but no straw stored on shelf with clean utensils and pans. Employees can only use disposable cups with lid and straw. Corrective action: Cup was removed and returned to office. Corrected On-Site.
— Observed no paper towels at the employee hand washing sink in the prep area. Paper towels should be easily accessible for employees to dry their hands. Corrective action: Paper towels were placed near the hand washing sink. Corrected On-Site
— Observed plumbing leak under the dish machine drain and three- compartment sink drain. Observed molded build-up on walls under dish machine and base boards. Corrective action: Need to be cleaned to remove mold, repair leaks; remove pans and trays under dish machine area. Cleaning of area in dish room was done immediately. Work order is already turned in to repair leaks. Correct By: 07/30/2015.
• Taco Bell, 725 E. Forsyth St., Americus — July 24 — 100 A

OGLETHORPE — The following food service inspections were conducted recently by Macon County Environmental Health.
• Riverview Senior Center, 50 Riverview Drive, Oglethorpe — Aug. 19 — 96 A
—  At time of inspection there were no paper towels at hand wash sink.
