Americus-Sumter High Band competes in Phenix Invitational

The Americus-Sumter High School Pride of Southwest Georgia performed at the 35th Annual Phenix Invitational Marching Festival and received Superior Ratings for Drum Major, Pit/Battery Percussion, and Band Sept. 26. The Guard received an excellent Rating. The band was awarded a total of four trophies. They also traveled to Plains the same morning and participated in the Plains Peanut Festival Parade.
