To qualify for Duke TIP, students must score in the 95th percentile and above on a recent nationally normed standardized test. Twenty-five percent of this year’s seventh-grade class at Southland Academy met this qualification. These students have the opportunity to take the SAT or ACT during their seventh-grade year.
