• Firefighters responded to a smoke detector activation at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center, 2001 Nursing Center Drive. The west wing had been evacuated and firefighters searched the area and found that dust had activated the detector.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on Brady Road.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on North Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
• Firefighters responded to East Church Street to a report of a possible structure fire. They found an electrical problem with the heater, but no fire.
