FLIR donates $3,000 for Schley Community Park

ELLAVILLE — The Schley County Community Foundation received a $3,000 corporate donation from FLIR Industries in Schley County to purchase playground equipment for the new Schley Community Park. The park will be located in the center of the Schley County Recreation Complex.
Jeff Peck, FLIR managing directorl Jason Hoch, FLIR Quality director, and Santos Salazar, FLIR Weld Department lead, presented the check to the Schley Community Foundation as part of a local corporate donation from FLIR Industries for 2015. FLIR is the nation’s leader in security and surveillance equipment.
FLIR’s donation accompanies the Schley Community Foundations $100 challenge for parents, grandparents, family members, churches, civic organizations as well as local business and industry to donate $100 to provide a group of training and fitness exercise equipment and a playground structure in the center of the Schley County Recreation Complex for children to use for fun and exercise.
You can make a tax -ree contribution to build the new Schley Community Park by calling the Schley County Community Foundation, a 501 C(3) organization, at 229- 937-5708 or by mailing your contribution to P.O. Box 606, Ellaville GA 31806.  The foundation will give you a receipt for your tax records.
