AMERICUS — Mrs. Jane Ann Pope, 58, of 256 Ferguson St., Leslie, Ga., passed away on Jan. 8, 2016, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, in the chapel at Aldridge Funeral Services.  The Rev. Guy Mathis will officiate. Interment will follow the funeral at 2 p.m. at Andersonville National Cemetery in Andersonville, Ga.  Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, at Aldridge Funeral Services.
Mrs. Pope was born on Jan. 26, 1957, in Melbourne, Fla., to Mr. John Jackson Clark and Mrs. Margaret Lamb Clark. She was a member of the DeSoto Methodist Church in De Soto, Ga.
She is survived by her parents Mr. and Mrs. John Jackson Clark; two sons, Doy Pope and his wife Christy of Marietta, Ga., and Jonathan Pope and his wife Kimberly of Byron, Ga.;  two sisters, Judy Braden and her husband John of Melbourne, Fla., and Trudy  Pollock and her husband Curt of Cobb, Ga.; two brothers, Jack Clark and his wife Sylvia of Leslie, Ga., and Mike Clark and his wife Susie of Americus, Ga.; four grandchildren, Ian, Ryan, Landon and Logan, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Jerry Ray Pope.
