SUWANEE — Eliene Markette Poole Beckwith, 92, of Suwanee formerly of Decatur, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016.
She was born in Americus, Ga., the daughter of the late James and Louise Poole.
Mrs. Beckwith was a longtime resident of Decatur and a former member of Scott Boulevard Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon A. Beckwith Sr.
Survivors include her children, Patricia Giddens of Auburn, Ala., Barbara (Gary) Vaughn of Burford, Ga., Gordon A. (Rena) Beckwith Jr. of Suwanee, and James (Diane) Beckwith of Snellville; her 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14 in Floral Hills Memory Gardens with the Rev. Casey Giddens officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at Floral Hills Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
