The Sumter County Board of Commissioners has a special called meeting at 5 p.m. Jan. 19 at the Board of Commissioners’ board room located at 500 W. Lamar St., for the purpose of discussing board appointments in closed session. The Board will also discuss any other items that the Board deems appropriate.
