Americus-Sumter High School celebrated its October Students of the Month with a ‘Panther Brunch’ in the school’s media center. The students and their parents or guardians were invited to the ceremony. During the brunch, each student was honored with a plaque, provided by Spud Bowen and Associates, and a certificate.  The positive comments from their nominating teachers were read aloud by odd Vickery, assistant principal. The teacher of the month, Jill Forehand, was also presented with a plaque.
