Nominations for Mr. and Miss Southland were made by the Senior Class at Southland Academy, and then the nominees were voted on by the high school student body. Miss Southland is Hannah Teasley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Teasley of Americus, and Mr. Southland is Taylor Weldon, son of Lisa Weldon and the late Dr. Quint Weldon of Americus.
