Astronomical event to be visible Friday pre-dawn

The Department of Geology and Physics at Georgia Southwestern State University invites everyone to The Agerton Observatory on top of the Roney Building this Friday, Jan. 29. The observatory will be open from 6 a..m. until daylight to observe the Moon and “The Great Planetary Alignment”, with Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Venus and Mercury all being visible in the pre-dawn sky.
