The National Weather Service has issued a significant weather advisory for Webster, Marion, Sumter, Macon, Stewart. Taylor and Schley counties until mid-morning Wednesday.

A line of strong thunderstorms was extending from 7 miles south of Junction City to 8 miles south of Lumpkin, moving southeast at 30 mph.

The storms could product 40 to 50 mph winds, frequent cloud to ground lightning and heavy rain.
